Former San Diego County Deputy District Attorney Paul Greenwood hosts webinar to help reduce the risks of falling victim to elder financial abuse

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (June 7, 2021) -- San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of California’s largest credit unions, will host “Elder Financial Abuse Prevention,” a complimentary educational webinar presented by former San Diego County Deputy District Attorney Paul Greenwood on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The online webinar format allows the community to attend from the comfort of their home and is part of SDCCU Financial Wellness Wednesdays.

He’s been head of the Elder Abuse Prosecution Unit since 1996 and is currently co-chair of the California District Attorney Elder Abuse Committee. He’s been featured on both CBS’s “Eye on America” and NBC’s “Nightly News.” Over his career, he has been acknowledged with numerous accolades, including the “Visionary for Change” Award, San Diego County Bar Public Service Attorney Award and the Professional Leadership Award by the Elder Financial Protection Network.
