About Me

I started in financial services in 2006 while working my way through college. Lacking a college fund and averse to taking on debt, I paid for my education one semester at a time, eventually obtaining a degree in Economics from California State University, Northridge. My first job out of college was as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch, and from then on I relentlessly pursued ways to add value to my client relationships. I joined SDCCU Investment Services because SDCCU follows the same core principle I do: provide a customized experience that puts the needs of our members first.

In my spare time, you will find me ocean swimming up and down the coast, running marathons and spending time with my wife and son.

What Makes Me Different

For as long as I can remember, I have had a fascination with how money works: how to earn it, how to protect it and how to grow it. Over the years, I have found that financial decisions are not intuitive and having money now does not guarantee having money forever. As a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals make informed decisions with their money. No two investors are alike, so it takes a broad and deep understanding to help individuals not only survive, but thrive in the ever changing world we live in.
