About Me


I began my career in financial services as a mortgage loan officer. Although I enjoyed my time as a loan officer, I was drawn to the idea of helping people in a more comprehensive way. 11 years ago, I made the jump and accepted a position as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley and haven’t looked back. At Morgan Stanley, I obtained my FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and also became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practioner. Since then, I have worked for a couple of different firms but finally found my permanent home with SDCCU Investment Services. I love the relationship that SDCCU has with its members and was drawn to the close community feel.
 
In my spare time I try to spend as much time outside as possible. I have hiked some of the best spots that Southern California offers including Mt. Jacinto (10,834 feet!) in Palm Springs. I have my pilot’s license and love flying any chance I can get in the air. My greatest joy, however, is spending time with my two sons. Whether it’s taking in a UCLA basketball game (Go Bruins), cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers or spending time on a Tae Kwon Do mat (all three of us are black belts), you will find me spending as much time with my boys as possible. 


What Makes Me Different


Ever since I can remember, I have been passionate about helping people with their finances. At an early age I saw firsthand what can happen without proper planning. My father insisted on doing everything himself without consulting an expert and sadly that approach back-fired. My father lost everything and was left penniless late in life. After witnessing what happened in my family, I vowed to do everything I could to prevent it from happening to anyone else. You will not find anyone more passionate about helping you pursue your financial goals. I take a holistic approach and use my personal experience as a driving force in how I work with my clients over time. I’ve also had the opportunity to hire a financial advisor myself, so I have been in your shoes. I am committed to my clients’ success.
