About Me

I began my career as a financial advisor after serving as a commercial business lender for over seven years. While I enjoyed my time as a commercial lender, the opportunity to assist individuals and families with meeting their financial goals was more satisfying and meaningful to me than assisting businesses secure financing. After 7 years as a loan officer, I accepted a position to be a financial advisor with Home Fed. I have worked for a few different firms over the years before finding my home with SDCCU Investment Services. I was drawn to the relationship SDCCU has with its members and found that it is really different here. Whether it’s planning for a secure retirement, developing a strategy to pay for your child’s college education or simply getting a second opinion about your current investment options, I can help you create a roadmap and a disciplined approach to investing with the goal of reaching your financial objectives.

When I am not working, I love to enjoy the outdoors. I have a passion for surfing and can often be found on the weekends surfing Oceanside Harbor or a few of the breaks in Carlsbad. I also enjoy DIY projects and (like many) I made a lot of progress during the pandemic. My favorite times, however, are spent hiking and biking the local trails with my wife Chrystal and our rescue dog Xena.
