About Me


I began my career in the financial services industry while I was in college in 2003 as a bank teller at Washington Mutual. I quickly learned that not only did I enjoy financial services, but I also loved working with people and maintaining client relationships. After college, I joined my father’s financial advisory team at Lincoln Financial Advisors in La Jolla. I had a great time working one-on-one with my father and learning from one of the best. After my father retired in 2012, I ventured out on my own, joining MetLife and their financial planning division in San Diego. There, I obtained my LUTCF® designation, which provided me with in depth training in life insurance and annuities. During my time at MetLife, I headed the Death Claims department as their Certified Death Claims Specialist, helping clients navigate the life insurance claims process during those difficult moments for many families. I enjoyed my time at MetLife, but was drawn to a smaller community feel. In 2017, I found that community and joined SDCCU Investment Services.
 
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, my wife Laura and our three children. I also enjoy golfing, mountain biking, dining on the coast and various outdoor activities with my friends and family.
