Global awards program recognizes the world’s best employers who help create and drive great places to work

SAN DIEGO (September 28, 2023) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally owned credit unions, was recognized with a Gold Stevie® Award in the 2023 Stevie Awards for Great Employers, which honors the world’s best employers and human resources teams. More than 1,000 nominations from organizations of all sizes in 28 different nations were submitted this year for consideration, and more than 100 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s honorees.

SDCCU was honored with a Gold Stevie Award in the Employer of the Year – Banking category. Winners of the awards, named the “Stevies” from the Greek word meaning “crowned,” were recognized during an awards gala on Monday, September 18, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
