Popmoney and SDCCUdirect will sunset
Popmoney - June 30, 2023
- Payments scheduled after 3 p.m. PT on June 30, 2023 will not be processed.
- We recommend canceling any recurring or future-dated payments that are scheduled for delivery after June 30.
- Transactions initiated before 3 p.m. PT on June 30 will be processed. Recipients who are registered Popmoney users will receive payment automatically. If the recipient is not a registered Popmoney user, they will get notification through email or text message with instructions on how to accept the payment. If the payment is not accepted after 10 days, the funds will be returned to the sender.
- If you are the recipient of any pending Popmoney payments, please accept or cancel the payments by 3 p.m. PT on June 30. Canceling the payment will result in the funds being returned to the sender.
Popmoney access, send/receive functionality and access to payment history will be removed from Bill Payer Plus at that time. For members looking to make person-to-person transactions, SDCCU does allow connections to other third-party payment services and apps.
SDCCUdirect - September 1, 2023
If you are a member who currently uses SDCCUdirect and you are looking for an alternate way to make an external transfer, we encourage you to use any of the various transfer options available to members:
SDCCU Easy Pay
Pay your auto or mortgage loan without logging into Internet Branch online banking, with an account from another financial institution, using our convenient SDCCU Easy Pay. All you need is your non-SDCCU bank routing and account numbers or your non-SDCCU debit card. Once registered, you can easily set up recurring payments or complete a one-time payment – it’s up to you. There is a convenience fee to pay with your debit card but ACH payments can be made with no fee; see the Consumer Services Fee Schedule. Payment limits apply.
For Real Estate Loan payoffs, please call SDCCU at (877) 732-2848 to request a total payoff amount. Additional fees and/or finance charges may apply.
ACH Payment (other bank account to SDCCU)
Set up pre-authorized monthly payments from your account at another financial institution. Complete the Authorization for Direct Payment Form and return by mail or to your local branch.
External Transfer (other bank account to SDCCU)
Please contact your other financial institution to ensure you can set up the transfer. They will require SDCCU routing number and your SDCCU account number, which can be found within your Internet Branch online banking account, or you can call us at (877) 732-2848 to retrieve your account number.

Write a check to yourself from your other financial institution and use SDCCU Mobile Deposit to deposit the funds into your SDCCU account.
