Donations Benefit Rady Children’s Health in San Diego and Orange County

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (May 1, 2026) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is collecting monetary donations for two children’s hospitals in Southern California to celebrate the Miracle Month of May. Donations collected will help provide essential medical care for children at Rady Children's Health in San Diego and Orange County. Donations can be made in-branch or online through May 31.

More than 10 million kids enter children’s hospitals like Rady Children’s Health in San Diego and Orange County across North America every year. Children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support to provide the best care for kids, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals have helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $9 billion, most of it $1 at a time, through its Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
