Blood drive held at eight SDCCU locations helped to save over 288 lives
SAN DIEGO, Calif., (October 3, 2024) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, partnered with the San Diego Blood Bank to host a blood drive at eight SDCCU locations in San Diego, Orange and Riverside counties, collecting 96 units of much-needed blood, which will help save the lives of over 288 people.The blood drive helped boost blood inventory during a challenging time of the year for the San Diego Blood Bank. Blood donations are critical at all times of the year, especially ahead of fall holiday travel to prepare for incoming visitors.
