San Diego Business Journal honors standout leaders making an impact in San Diego County

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (May 24, 2023) - San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is proud to announce that SDCCU Senior Vice President of Marketing, Keisaku Yogi, was named among San Diego Business Journal’s 2023 Asian Pacific Islander Leaders of Influence. The award recognizes outstanding leaders who are positively impacting their organization and the San Diego community.

Yogi was selected in part for his leadership, and passionate commitment to positively impacting the San Diego community through his work. Since joining SDCCU in 2013, Yogi has been instrumental in expanding the marketing activities to elevate awareness of SDCCU and contribute to the organization’s success. The credit union has grown to $11.1 billion in assets and reached over 438,000 members, both of which have nearly doubled during his time with SDCCU. With his support, SDCCU remained a top national credit union and was voted BEST Credit Union for the 23rd consecutive year and for the 13th year in a row: BEST Financial Planner, BEST Mortgage Home Loan Provider and BEST Auto Loan Provider, as well as BEST Place to Work for the 9th year in The San Diego Union-Tribune Readers Poll.

Yogi has experienced many achievements over the course of his career and has quickly risen in the ranks within the marketing department and leadership within the credit union. He joined SDCCU as a Marketing & Media Buying Specialist in 2013, was promoted to Assistant Marketing Manager and then to Media Buying Manager in 2016, followed by Vice President, Media Manager in 2020, and in 2022 elevating to Senior Vice President of Marketing.

Yogi earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Finance from New York University. His work has been acknowledged throughout his career with many awards including: 2022 Viddy Awards in multiple categories, 2022 Gold DotCOMM Award for the SDCCU Blog, 2022 Gold Stevie Award – Corporate Responsibility from the American Business Awards for SDCCU Stuff the Bus, an annual campaign that provides school supplies to students in need, 2021 Dora Maxwell Award by the Credit Union National Association for SDCCU Stuff the Bus, 2021 MarCom Gold Award for SDCCU’s Zip.
