Mortgage Loan Servicing Transfer

If you received a notice via mail or email, on August 1, 2024, the servicing of your mortgage loan will transfer from our sub-servicer, Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. (DMI) to Member First Mortgage, LLC (MFM). SDCCU will no longer be the servicer of your loan.  Once the transition to MFM is done, you will have new features and options for making payments and accessing information pertaining to your mortgage account.

Soon, you will receive a Notice of Servicing Transfer from both MFM and DMI in the mail. Be sure to carefully read these notices and retain them for your records. Important information regarding this change is noted below.

  • On and after August 1, 2024, payments for specific mortgage loans for which you were notified should be sent to MFM.
  • San Diego County Credit Union will not be able to accept payments for the loan that was referenced in your letter or email at any branch or online after July 30, 2024.
  • Be sure to update your payment information, as the service will not continue with the new servicer.
    • ACH Payment: You will need to fill out MFM's ACH form which was provided to you via mail and available online starting August 5, 2024 at www.memberfirstmortgage.com.
    • DMI Autopay Service: The DMI autopay service will be terminated following the transfer, therefore these payments will need to be switched to MFM's automatic monthly payment service. MFM will provide an Automatic Monthly Payment (ACH) application with the Notice of Transfer. To sign up for the service, please complete the form and send to MFM. The form can also be completed online starting August 5, 2024 at www.memberfirstmortgage.com. Please note, MFM does not offer bi-weekly or bi-monthly payment services.
    • Bill Payer Plus®: You must update Bill Payer Plus with your new MFM loan number and MFM's payment mailing address so your payment is credited appropriately and without delay. Please cancel any future payments scheduled with DMI.
    • Payments can also be made by check, by telephone at (866) 636-1052 or online at www.memberfirstmortgage.com to establish an automatic transfer service with MFM.
  • The servicing transfer only applies to specific loan numbers that have been notified via letter and email. If you are unsure if your loan was affected, please contact SDCCU at (877) 732-2848, ext. 8670.
