iVIE SDCCU Redeye Competition

The iVIE SDCCU Redeye Competition will feature student teams tasked with creating a video in just one weekend.
 

SDCCU is teaming up with the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) to hold the Innovative Video in Education (iVIE) SDCCU Redeye Competition. The competition will feature student teams tasked with creating a video in just one weekend, February 28 – March 1. The winning video will be announced at the iVIE Award Movie Festival on April 25. Each member of the winning team will be awarded a $500 scholarship. 

It’s a three-part competition:

Part 1:  Entry forms due February 13, 2015
Part 2:  iVIE SDCCU Redeye Competition will begin at 8 a.m. on February 28, 2015
Part 3:  One team will be announced the winner at the iVIE Awards on April 25, 2015
Aside from the fame and fortune, the iVIE SDCCU Redeye Competition presents a unique opportunity for grades 6-12 students to begin building their portfolio for college and beyond. All creativity—shooting, editing and adding a musical soundtrack—must occur in a 36-hour period beginning Saturday morning at 8 a.m. on February 28 and ending on Sunday evening at 8 p.m. on March 1.
