SDCCU Shred Day

Thank you for helping us break our existing GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title at the 2019 SDCCU Super Shred Event, collecting, shredding and recycling an incredible 239,060 pounds of paper! View all of our amazing shred statistics.

SDCCU is hosting another free paper shredding shred event – and we need your help to make it our biggest ever! We will be attempting to once again break the Guinness World Records™ title for the most waste paper shredded in 8 hours, so bring all your old personal documents for shredding and recycling. Whether you have a few important documents or containers full of personal information that need to be disposed of securely, there’s no limit to how much you can bring and everyone is invited!

Stay tuned for details on our next shred event!

Shred-it®, the world’s leading document destruction and recycling company, will be onsite to shred paper documents at no charge. Their trucks are equipped with advanced shredding technology, so your paper documents will be securely disposed of. Paper documents should be removed from binders prior to shredding; however, staples and paperclips are okay to be shredded.

Additionally, donations for SDCCU's Stuff the Bus school supplies are appreciated. If you would like to participate, please bring any unused school supplies for local students that are experiencing homelessness.

Protect your private information as well as the environment – and be a part of history! Stay tuned for more information about the SDCCU Super Shred Event at the SDCCU Stadium in northeast parking lot located at 9449 Friars Road, San Diego.
