SDCCU presents webinars focused on consumer protection as part of SDCCU’s Financial Wellness Wednesdays

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (February 26, 2026) – San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is providing educational resources for the community in support of National Consumer Protection Week, March 1-7. On Wednesday, March 4, SDCCU will present three free webinars aimed at educating the community on how to keep themselves, their loved ones, and their finances safe. Webinar topics include Elder Financial Abuse Prevention, Estate Planning with Legal Karma, and Current Scams and How to Protect Your Finances.

National Consumer Protection Week encourages the community to learn more about consumer rights and how to keep their finances secure. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has sponsored National Consumer Protection Week since 1998 and provides free resources to protect consumers from the latest scams and other fraudulent crimes including identity theft. If you think you’ve been a victim of a scam, report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
