Blood drives will be held at eight SDCCU locations

SAN DIEGO (August 24, 2026) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at eight locations: seven in San Diego County and one in Riverside County. Currently, there is an extremely low inventory of blood and it’s especially important to donate before the Labor Day holiday, when travel and outdoor activities increase the demand for emergency trauma care. Hospital shelves have a constant need, potentially affecting thousands of patients and the community is encouraged to help. Every pint of blood has the potential to save up to three lives.


Register today as the San Diego Blood Bank will be at the following SDCCU locations on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
