Hoehn Family of Dealerships matches donations on July 23

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (July 23. 2026) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is hosting its annual SDCCU Stuff the Bus campaign to raise monetary donations to purchase back-to-school supplies for students experiencing homelessness in partnership with the San Diego County Office of Education and iHeartMedia. This year, in addition to the online and in-branch collections, SDCCU has partnered with the Hoehn Family of Dealerships to support students in need. On July 23, Hoehn will match every donation made, dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000.

More than 24,000 school-age children were identified as experiencing homelessness during the last school year. Homelessness for school-age children can mean living in a shelter, sharing a residence with multiple families, living in a car or trailer in San Diego County, or sharing a room in an apartment with relatives. Homelessness is not limited to urban, downtown San Diego — it also affects suburban school districts all over the county.


The community can donate at all SDCCU branch locations or online at sdccu.com/donate now through July 31, 2026. Donations will be matched by Hoehn Family of Dealerships on Thursday, July 23.
