SDCCU members whose pay has been impacted by the current federal government shutdown may be eligible for assistance. Qualified members can take advantage of a 90-day loan deferral, and those with an existing payroll direct deposit, may be eligible for a 0% APR Personal Direct Deposit Loan.

Membership required. Documentation that member is a federal government employee whose pay is impacted by the government shutdown must be provided. Account must be in good standing.

¹ Finance charges will continue to accrue at the rate provided in the original loan disclosures and agreements. Deferring a payment(s) will result in higher total finance charges than if the payments were made as originally scheduled. A deferment may extend the term of the loan(s) and extra payment(s) may be required after the loan(s) would have been paid off as provided in the original loan disclosures and agreements. The first payment required after the deferment period will include all finance charges accrued since the last payment was applied.

² Must have an existing payroll direct deposit preceding the government shutdown. On the day direct deposit of pay resumes, funds will be automatically deducted as repayment and the loan will be paid in full.
