San Diego Police Foundation teaches parents and teachers how to identify and handle online issues impacting today’s youth

SDCCU is presenting a free Tools for Schools seminar for parents and teachers focused on keeping kids safe online. The seminar will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Marston Middle School (auditorium), located at 3799 Clairemont Drive.
Representatives from the San Diego Police Foundation will host a presentation and teach parents and teachers how to identify and handle online issue’s impacting today’s youth, such as: protecting privacy while using social networking sites, fighting back against cyberbullying, staying safe from online predators and much more. The presentation is part of the Foundation’s SafetyNet® program, a collaborative program with the San Diego Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
