SDCCU, San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, raised a total of $11,252 through a special holiday fundraising campaign benefitting the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA. The total exceeded SDCCU’s goal of raising $10,000 throughout the recent holiday season for the non-profit organization.
“We are thrilled to exceed our goal so that our four-legged friends could also have a happy holiday season,” said Teresa Halleck, president and CEO of SDCCU. “These donations will certainly help save precious animals. We appreciate the generosity of SDCCU customers.”
Donations were accepted at all SDCCU branch locations and through a link on its website, sdccu.com.
This was the second season SDCCU held the fundraiser benefitting the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA. The mission of the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is to promote the humane treatment of animals, prevent cruelty to animals and provide education to enhance the human-animal bond.
