Community members attend free seminar on safe and secure investment planning strategies courtesy of SDCCU
Financial journalist George Chamberlin presents “Mid-Year Investment Review” seminar

More than 150 people turned out for a free educational seminar with financial expert George Chamberlin hosted by SDCCU. The presentation, titled “Mid-Year Investment Review,” was held on Wednesday evening, June 17, at SDCCU’s administrative office, located at 6545 Sequence Dr. in Mira Mesa.
Chamberlin provided insight into performing a personal mid-year investment review, including discussions on how the stock market looks, interest rate trends, checking credit reports, saving goals, budgeting, estate planning tips and more. The presentation, which was open to the public, is one of a series of “Managing Your Money” seminars Chamberlin conducts for SDCCU.
Chamberlin is a locally renowned financial expert who provides a wealth of financial and business news updates to the Southern California region. He is the Executive Editor of The San Diego Daily Transcript, San Diego’s only daily business newspaper, the Business Editor for AM-600 KOGO News Radio and host of “Money Matters,” a personal finance program heard each Sunday on KOGO.
