Donate Blood on September 7 at Seven SDCCU Locations

Blood drives held in Orange, Riverside and San Diego counties

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (August 31, 2021)-- San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at seven SDCCU branch locations, five in San Diego County, one in Riverside County, and one in Orange County. Over the past year, the COVID-19 pandemic has put an incredible strain on the blood supply in the community. There is currently an extremely low inventory of blood, hospital shelves are almost empty and this short supply is affecting thousands of patients. The community is encouraged to help – lives depend on it!

Register today as the San Diego Blood Bank will be at the following SDCCU locations on September 7 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., click on a location below to schedule your appointment: SDCCU has supported the San Diego Blood Bank for over 20 years. Blood donations are especially critical at this time of year after a busy summer season, and this year has been especially challenging. While an increased need for blood exists, donations have decreased due to businesses and community partners being unable to host normal drives.
