Join San Diego County Credit Union at the Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium to Donate Blood

Donate to the San Diego Blood Bank on June 21 and 22 at the Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (June 20, 2019)— San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, is a proud sponsor of the Lake Elsinore Storm in Lake Elsinore, Calif. Join SDCCU at The Diamond on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22 to donate blood to the San Diego Blood Bank, then stay to watch the Storm.
 
The Blood Drive will take place during Storm Baseball’s popular GEEKend at The Diamond where they have special themes each game night Friday – Sunday against the Inland Empire 66ers. The game on Friday is at 7:00 p.m. and the theme is super power night. The game on Saturday is at 6:00 p.m. and the theme is Star Wars. There will also be a special themed hat giveaway for all who donate blood, while supplies last.

SDCCU is dedicated to bringing its community together to help save lives, and has done so by supporting the San Diego Blood Bank for nearly 20 years. In May, SDCCU partnered with the San Diego Blood Bank to host blood drives throughout San Diego and Riverside counties collecting 97 pints of much-needed blood, which will help save the lives of over 291 people. Blood donations are especially critical at this time of year because donations often decrease due to the holidays and cold and flu season, while the need for more blood often increases.
