SDCCU has announced that Ashlee Micale, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, has been named CFO of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal, a San Diego-based weekly business newspaper.
The CFO of the Year awards program, in its 12th year, recognizes CFOs and financial managers from across San Diego’s businesses for their contributions to company growth, leadership and community involvement. A panel of judges selects CFOs of the Year in multiple categories, including: business non-profit, public company, privately held company, non-profit organization, government agency and education, along with overall CFO of the Year. Ashlee was recognized with the top award for CFO of the Year. Several people from San Diego’s leading companies attended the awards presentation and reception held March 15, at the Westin® San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.
Event organizers said Micale was recognized for the role she plays in the success of SDCCU, including her oversight in business intelligence, preparation for growth and enterprise risk management.
