Dale Turner, EVP, San Diego County Credit Union Named a 2018 San Diego Next Top Business Leaders Under 40 Award Finalist

San Diego Business Journal honors young professionals who are positively impacting San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (August 23, 2018) -- San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, is proud to announce that SDCCU Executive Vice President, Chief Sales and Service Officer, Dale Turner was named a 2018 San Diego Next Top Business Leaders Under 40 Award Finalist by the San Diego Business Journal. The award recognizes young professionals – leaders, change makers and innovators who make an impactful, positive difference within the San Diego community.
 
Turner was nominated for his exemplary leadership and ability to drive change both within San Diego County Credit Union and the San Diego community. Overseeing the regional sales and call center teams, he is responsible for defining and driving continued sales and service strategies through member service solutions, sales incentive programs and analyzing strengths and opportunities for both SDCCU and its members. The award winners were honored during the first ever San Diego Next Top Business Leaders Under 40 reception and awards presentation on August 14 at the Westin® San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.

Turner is involved in the credit union industry as a committee member of the Credit Union National Association (The Foundation) Lending Council, has participated as a speaker and panelist at the 2016 CUNA Lending Conference and served on the Indiana Credit Union League’s Leadership Advisory Committee.
 
Prior to joining SDCCU, Turner served as Vice President of Lending at Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union, District Manager for Wells Fargo, Head of Retail Lending at First National Bank and Vice Present of Lending at Elements Financial. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Wabash College and also earned a degree from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
