Donate Blood on January 3 at Six SDCCU Locations

Blood drive held at Encinitas, San Marcos, Santee, Sports Arena and Vista Branches and SDCCU Operations Center in Mira Mesa

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (December 24, 2018) -- San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, is hosting a blood drive on January 3, 2019 at six locations in San Diego.

Due to the busy holiday season, hospital shelves are almost empty, affecting thousands of patients. We need your help – lives depend on it! To register today to donate at any of the following locations on January 3 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., visit sdccu.com/blooddrive:

  • SDCCU Encinitas Branch
  • SDCCU Operations Center (Mira Mesa)
  • SDCCU San Marcos Branch
  • SDCCU Santee Branch
  • SDCCU Sports Arena Branch
  • SDCCU Vista Branch
SDCCU is dedicated to bringing its community together to help save lives, and has done so by supporting the San Diego Blood Bank for nearly 20 years. In May, SDCCU partnered with the San Diego Blood Bank and Hoag to host blood drives throughout San Diego and Orange counties that yielded 138 pints of much needed blood, which equals roughly 414 lives saved.

Blood donations are especially critical at this time of year because donations often decrease due to the holidays and cold and flu season, while the need for more blood often increases.
