SDCCU supported the San Diego Humane Society, Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center in Riverside County and the Animal Assistance League of Orange County with “Presents for Paws,” a special fundraising campaign this past holiday season. It was SDCCU’s fifth consecutive year supporting the “Presents for Paws” campaign aiming to give our four-legged friends a happy holiday season, too!
SDCCU exceeded last year’s collection of $12,278, raising a total of $12,974. Donations were accepted throughout December 2016 at all SDCCU branch locations and through a link on its website, sdccu.com.
“We thank the efforts and generosity of both our customers and employees, who donated funds to help animals in need. We are proud to support animals shelters through Presents for Paws and are confident the amount of money we raised will help save the lives of countless animals in Southern California,” said Teresa Halleck, SDCCU president and CEO.
