New SDCCU Mortgage Servicer – Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. (DMI)

The credit union strives to provide our members with the best mortgage experience. For that reason, on September 1, 2022, SDCCU transferred the servicing of mortgage loans from Midwest Loan Services (MLS) to Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. (DMI). DMI is a national leader in providing quality customer service and enhanced mortgage servicing. SDCCU will remain an integral part of the mortgage loan relationship, so you can rest assured that this change will not affect the terms of your loan.

  • What is happening with my automatic ACH payment?
If you signed and returned your Automatic Payment Program (APP) Form to SDCCU, your ACH payments continued with the new servicer starting with your September 1, 2022 payment which was initiated on September 14, 2022. Please note this was only for the month of September 2022, and your loan payment was not considered late. Your October payment, and payments going forward, will be initiated on the date you have selected on the APP Form as requested.

If your ACH payment drafts between the 16th and the end of the month, your automatic ACH will not continue with the new servicer. You have received a Notice of Servicing Transfer letter in the mail which included a new Automatic Payment Program (APP) Form. Please complete and return the APP Form that was mailed to you and plan to make your payments by other methods to the new servicer until you receive confirmation, by mail, with the new automatic payment date.
  • Why did I have to verify my ACH payment on the APP Form?
By verifying your automatic ACH payment information on the pre-filled APP Form, your automatic payments will continue for your convenience without interruption. The first draft payment was initiated on September 14, 2022. The regularly scheduled draft date will resume with your October payment.
  • What will happen if I didn’t return my completed APP Form by August 19?
If your pre-filled signed APP Form was not returned to SDCCU by August 19, your automatic payments were discontinued after your scheduled August payment and you will need to make your future payments by other methods.
  • If I am setting up a brand new ACH Payment, when will it start?
If you received an ACH APP Form, with your Notice of Servicing Transfer letter, that was not pre-filled, simply return the completed form to initiate a new ACH payment. Please make your payments by other methods until you receive a confirmation letter with your new automatic ACH payment start date. If you need a new ACH APP Form, download it here
  • How can I change or discontinue my ACH information?
If you do not wish to continue with the current ACH information, please provide written notice to the current servicer and allow 30 days prior to the next draft due date.
  • How can I view my mortgage online with the new servicer?
