teenFIRST Auto Loan
Get a teenFIRST Auto Loan and not only can you get the ride you want, but you’ll get the credit you deserve.
With your parent as the primary borrower, your loan will have your name on the payment coupons and title to the car. This is a great way to practice financial responsibility and look good doing it.
¹Member must be 16 or 17 years old and have valid ID in order to take advantage of products and services offered in the teenFIRST program. Parent or guardian must be Joint Owner on the account until the teen reaches the age of 18. Teen will be the primary member on the account. Opening and maintaining a Primary Savings Account at San Diego County Credit Union requires a minimum $50 deposit per the Credit Union's charter. Once member has reached the age of 18, member will be able to take advantage of SDCCU®’s full line of products and services, including loans.
²Once member turns 18, the teenFIRST Checking Account automatically converts to a myChecking Account and is free when
enrolled in eStatements. Otherwise, a nominal monthly fee of $2 applies.
³Image must meet our Standard Photo Card Guidelines. A one-time fee of $6.95 will be charged to the associated Checking Account for each Photo Visa Check Card ordered. myOwn Card must be created by parent/guardian Joint Owner with Internet Branch access. |
