What is SDCCU Mobile Deposit?
SDCCU® Mobile Deposit is an application that provides additional convenience to Internet Branch online banking users. You can use the application to deposit checks remotely from your mobile phone or device.

Why isn't the app working for me?
You need to enroll through Internet Branch online banking before you can log into SDCCU Mobile Deposit.

When will the BlackBerry apps be available?
We are currently working on the finishing touches to this app. It will be available within a few weeks.

What is my Login ID and Password?
To access SDCCU mobile deposit, use your current Internet Branch online banking login ID and password. You must first enroll in SDCCU Mobile Deposit through Internet Branch.

How do I enroll in SDCCU Mobile Deposit?
Log into Internet Branch online banking, click the Mobile Banking tab, then click SDCCU Mobile Deposit in the gray navigation bar. Agree to the SDCCU Mobile Deposit Terms and Conditions then follow the on-screen instructions to download the app.

Is SDCCU Mobile Deposit safe?
Yes, SDCCU Mobile Deposit is safe. Access to the application on your mobile phone requires your Login ID and Password.

Is there a fee for SDCCU mobile deposit?
SDCCU does not charge any fees for using SDCCU Mobile Deposit. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details.

What are the eligibility requirements for SDCCU Mobile Deposit?
SDCCU Mobile Deposit enrollment takes place through Internet Branch. To be eligible for SDCCU Mobile Deposit, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must have a valid SDCCU account in good standing (business accounts are not eligible)
  • You must be enrolled in Internet Branch online banking
  • You must have a compatible device with Internet access and a camera

What is a compatible device?
SDCCU mobile deposit is specifically formatted for iPhone®, Android™ and BlackBerry® devices that meet the following system requirements:

  • iPhone, iPad™ and iPod touch® devices
    • Version 4.1+ operating system
    • Camera
  • BlackBerry devices
    • Version 5.0+ operating system
    • Camera with 3.2+ megapixel resolution and autofocus
  • Android devices
    • Version 2.1.1+ operating system
    • Camera with 2.0+ megapixel resolution and autofocus

Can I access my account from more than one mobile phone?
Yes, you can access the same account from multiple devices.

Can I access multiple SDCCU accounts from my mobile phone?
You can access any account that you have enrolled in Internet Branch online banking. Your app/device can only be connected to one master account number. You can deposit to any checking or savings account under the master account number.

Why do I need separate mobile banking and mobile deposit apps?
We are working to integrate the two services into one convenient application. Until then, we are providing the services as separate apps.

Why isn't my check being accepted?
The system may be unable to read your check due to the handwriting, check condition or photo quality. If that is the case, you will need to bring your check to a SDCCU branch or ATM for deposit.

When will my deposit be available?
To ensure same day credit of your deposits, make your deposits by 3 p.m. PST. Deposits made after this cutoff time, Saturday, Sunday or on a day that SDCCU is not open will be deposited on the next business day (SDCCU Mobile Deposits made after 3 p.m. on Friday will show up in your account on Monday).

Will a hold be placed on my deposit?
Checks deposited through SDCCU mobile deposit are generally posted to your account within 1 business day. Our standard check holds apply. Please see the Things You Need To Know About Your Account disclosure for details.

How much can I deposit ?
You can deposit up to $5,000 per day through SDCCU Mobile Deposit.
