SDCCU collected 1,129 toy donations from its customers and employees for the SDCCU's second annual Winter Toy Drive benefiting Rady Children's Hospital – San Diego, the largest children's hospital in California. Donated items are used throughout the year as gifts to patients in conjunction with therapies.

The seventh annual San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl features the Horned Frogs from Texas Christian University playing the Bulldogs from Louisiana Tech University. The game will be played at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.
